Hey, we are Chasewild and we love to help couples craft the ultimate intimate wedding experience. Whether you want to plan a celebration with a small number of friends and family, or just yourselves, we have experience and ideas to make it happen.

WHERE TO START?

So you want to change it all up, go somewhere freaking beautiful and get married. Nice one. We think these kinds of weddings are one of the best ways you can celebrate your love.

So where to start?

TIME OF YEAR

We often get asked what the best time of year to elope or have an intimate wedding is. If you are planning something in the South Island - we would suggest a shoulder season. (Feb-May or September-Dec) During this time it won’t be too cold, there may be a little snow on the mountains. For the rest of NZ, anytime time of the year will be great. Even winter can make for some magic with some more unknown weather condition.

LOCATIONS

New Zealand is AMAZING and full of epic spots that will make for stunning photographs. We’ve shot intimate weddings at cool restaurants in Auckland city, through to adventure weddings on mountain tops in the South Island. We have so many ideas for cool spots.

AUCKLAND AREA:
Auckland may not come to mind when thinking of your elopement. However, drive an hour out west of Auckland and we have so so many epic beach/waterfall/cliff locations available to us.
We also love Auckland City weddings and have heaps of ideas for cool spots at restaurants, bars, hotels.

QUEENSTOWN AREA:
This whole area is the goods when it comes to dramatic mountain adventure love celebrations. So much goodness. It’s easy to fly into and access within a couple of hours drive a whole bunch of amazing locations. Goodness below:

CENTRAL NORTH ISLAND:
A four-five hour drive from Auckalnd get’s us to the truely unique and spectacular area around Tongariro National Park. If volcanoes are your thing, this is your spot. Super epic.

Catering/Furniture Hire/Celebrants/Make Up

While we are photographers and offer photography packages only, we can put you in touch with some amazing teams of people who can make some serious goodness happen. Whether it’s catering, ceremony furniture, an awesome celebrant or florist - we know some of the best around and can help you figure all this out. Many of the vendors we work with are up for an adventure as well, so no idea is too crazy.

Helicopters

You’ll see we often use helicopters to get to some very remote locations. If this is something you are keen to do, it is truely spectacular. We can arrange this for you and suggest different options, These are quoted at the time of planning - normally between $1500-$3000 (NZD)

Celebrants and Legal considerations

Getting married in NZ is a simple process and we can set you up with an awesome celebrant to make the process easy. You can find lots of info on the NZ Government site here.

Our Packages

We have full service elopement package available that include a celebrant, flowers, and hair and make up.
We also have photography packages that start from $2800 (NZD)

ALL PACKAGES INCLUDE:
• Location Scouting and planning.
• Approximately 100-200 full resolution edited photos .
• Final images provided in a beautiful online gallery with a personalised web link for you to view, download and share your photos.
• Sneak peek images delivered in the week after shoot.
• Full personal licence released to you to print, share and keep the images.
